Can I just say that I fully expected to be arrested for wearing this getup and toting an actual pickaxe on the subway? Nope, nothing odd about that in the least. Thank you to the random girl on the L train at 2AM who gave me a Kit Kat. And thanks to Kim & Eric for taking this kickass picture and hosting the awesome horror movie party!

Local story: while you were eating candy unmolested on the L train, two guys were being forced to the ground at gunpoint in Toronto. The cops were called in by some curtain-twitching busybody who saw them walking home from a party dressed in fatigues and carrying a prop rifle. Now they have issue an apology.
Christ in a pumpkin patch, how soon before Halloween is banned up here "for the sake of the children"?
