great episode of "Blood Work". Was Humbert Humbert mad at Brian after that "outburst"?
Any way, Why does Maryann have to eat people's hearts? Miss Janette went out in that really gruesome way. How did Maryann fail to kill Sookie by eating her heart - She had plenty of time to do it before Bill came.
Does it bother you guys that there's hardly any sexually active gay relationships on the show?
You guys are just too funny! Too bad I didn't know about you till the second season
not only sploshing, but also "Geophagy".
Another stellar vlog, guys. And yoo-hoo has the same effect on me (without the pussy rubbing).
OMG! I am totally rewatching to get a better look at that Fangbang movie splash screen.
I swear I see lust in his heart when the Rev. looks at Jason. Just like his wife. And his nemesis, the Lukenator, what with all the full-body contact and neck nibbling in the cold open.
Or, perhaps I'm just projecting, cuz that's how I feel about Jason. ;Þ
Yes! More Lafayette and Eric!
I would totally have picked "hot beef injection guy," too! He's dirty.
I thought Sookie look fabulous as she disembarked, a la Miss Loren, Anubis Airlines.
CJ asks: "Does it bother you guys that there's no gay relationships on the show?"
Well, speaking for myself (I'm Andy)... I'm only on book four, but the books didn't follow any gay relationships. It was all about Sookie. Now that Lafayette is out and feeling better than ever, I do think that at some point we will get to see him dating somebody (maybe Eric?). That said, I'm not sure if Lafayette is the type who'd even want to look for a serious lover. He seems more likely to keep "playing the field" but you never know. ;)
It is definitely Newlin in the adult video image on the rental guide Sookie scrolled through. Either it is him or they're just using the actor's face. I bet it's him.
@ Jennifer:
HAWWWWWWWWWWT!!! Oh this is gonna get good...
Great site guys! Just a couple of thoughts of my own to share. I too thought it looked like the Reverend in the Fangbang movie. Also, when the reverend, his wife and Jason were all sitting at the dinner table holding hands - I immediately thought threesome.
Why can't their be more then one half bull / half human creature? I think Maryann could be the "leader" and Eggs, Daphne and Carl could all be her minions that shift in to the creature and do her dirty work.
Its obvious that Maryann wants Tara to be part of her creature army. I think Tara's struggle with her own self-discovery is causing Maryann difficulty. It seemed like it took every ounce of Maryann's power to even get Tara and Eggs in to bed. I think Maryann is using Eggs as a way to get to Tara.
There is definitely something between Lafayette and Eric. I also think there is or was something between Eric and Godric. Lafayette probably reminds Eric of his past with Godric and therefore Eric has spared Lafayette and attempting to make him in to his own pet. Remember last season when Bill first explained to Sookie about the affects vampire blood has on humans? It allows the vampire to have a greater sense of the human and in return it connected the human to the vampire. I think Eric letting Lafayette drink his blood is Eric's way of keeping tabs on Lafayette.
That's about it for now - great commentary guys!
Love your blog, have spread the word on your site too, Team Eric all the way! The sneak peaks from HBO have really been sneaky, leading us down the wrong path till we see the show, I like that.
you guys need to do a Campblood meet in the city to watch the show, please! T
I just love you Guys. I agree with you about almost everything. I am now checking out your website as I am a huge fan of horror movies an just might buy a shirt.
OH! Almost forgot Congratulation on your nuptials and Happy Bday.
Terry
OOPS! I almost forgot. I know you'll mentioned in the first episode of season 2 that Bill's chest was hairless now ...it is not only him but Sam(he was fuzzy he ain't no more) and Jason...What up with that???
I followed you over from the other website to yours this is much better.
Terry
OMG, Team Lafayeric FTW!
Hey guys!
Just a drive-by-bubble-burst.
Alan Ball has publicly stated that the show will have NO Bubba. :(
Also - regarding the 'double climax' I think that in the end, Sookie will still be involved in the Bon Temps story line, since that's the only way we'll get Eric to that party in skin-tight clothes. I think that Tara will be out of her mind, and looking for help from Sookie, to get her out of Maryann's grasp or something.
Please never stop these...oh and if you'd like - get into Merlin, too! :P
Wanna Do Bad Things To #7098: Jessica's room service delivery in 2.4.
The "Sookie Hepburn flys Anubis Airlines" scene screamed but defining flaming moment for me remains the scene where Tara discovers her voodoo woman working at the drug store dressed as Flip Wilson.
