“Chris & John Go to Camp” Gets its Paranormal On
Chris and John and Brian (not necessarily in that order)
There’s a show on Logo called Chris & John Go to Camp that looks to be about two gay guys who live in a trailer park and make their neighbors and friends do strange things like hang out in Port-a-Pottys in bad wigs. I really have no idea.
Tonight’s episode is a spoof of Paranormal State and its ghost-hunting ilk, so it’s therefore squarely on my RADAR. The episode is called “Unhaunt My House!” and here’s a description:
“Chris & John come to the rescue of Debbie, a frantic lesbian, and battle the dark forces as they investigate her allegedly haunted house. Channeling their inner psychic ability, and with the help of a local paranormal society, they help banish the house’s evil demons back to hell. Brian Doyle finds himself in the crosshairs of a terrifying supernatural stalker, who calls him at all hours of the night with grizzly threats.”
I don’t know Brian Doyle from Susan Boyle, but I gather that being found in the crosshairs of a supernatural killer ain’t his cup of Constant Comment. And as The Haunting proved years ago, lesbians and spooky houses go together like chocolate and cheese. So that could be fun.
