Tail from the Crypt: John Hamill
Hey, Campers! Another day, another new regular feature here at the ever-widening Trust Circle known as CampBlood.org. And trust me: This one’s a doozy!
In honor of the thousands of prime specimens who have graced the scarlet screen, oftentimes flashing their well-toned biceps, buns and more in service to The Craft, I’m introducing a regular Tail from the Crypt feature. This one’s all about celebrating horror’s hottest himbos, past and present … so let’s get cracking!

The first fella on the slab is British actor and physique model John Hamill, who appeared in the fairly awesome 1972 screamfest Tower of Evil as ill-fated Jazz Festival aficionado “Gary” … and in doing so displayed one of the best poopers on either side of the Atlantic. (He also let a sea crab scuttle across said pooper, which gives hope that any one of us might have stood a chance with the guy!)
Hamill also appeared in the Joan Crawford “classic” Trog and The Beast in the Cellar before moving into sex comedies and eventually hardcore porn before retiring from the biz.

A fine new feature which takes us back to – ahem – first principles. There’s something about the silence of the John Hamill posing video which unnerves though..
Trog is an awesome film! Crawford’s eyebrows were robbed at the Oscar’s! It’s great British horror b-movie schlock – but with Joan fricking Crawford!!!
Uhm, when I showed this to friends they were horrified at the sheer awfulness of it… but I love it for that very reason!! A remake is needed!!
