Awe-sum review guys, but you look like HOT Tamales! I think Arlene had the best line of the show ‘Hey Sam, B-Rock & Hill-air-ree are looking for ya!’ My favorite Authori-taay figure is definitely the one who looks and sounds like Sharon Osborne’s illegimate Texas sister! I was little sad to see the kid get staked even if he was irritaing as hell – but aren’t most kids that way? OK I’m a little disappointed that Sookie couldn’t make herself a decent cocktail after working at Merlottes all these years…Whatevers Sookie! And it’s obvious the Sookie & Jason’s fae blood casues people to do just about anything for their sexy butts but the show should explore this more…maybe they will in later episodes. Nora & Salome are definitely Sanguinistas, it that how to spell it? whatevers. And I think Eric told someone else about Russell and that’s how Nora & Salome knew where to dig him up. Has anyone counted how many Apple products were in the last episode? Product placement gone-wild!
RE the Terry storyline, do you think they may have a Djinn (Jeni) after them? In revenge of what happened in Iraq…

Can you explain the whole Authority and their zealotry/anti-zealotry thing? It’s like they are super religious, but are going after people who are super religious? We’ve never seen anyone do a Lilith blood sacrament before, and they totally do, but then they are going after people who are really into the Vampire Bible? What gives. Wouldn’t they be super secular? I need this explained to me because I’m not getting the motivation here.

I’m looking forward to seeing Pam and Tara’s development together as Maker and Child. Pam seemed to ‘get’ the importance of it when Eric told her that his blood would continue through them both. She now seems to take it seriously and will be there to train Tara. I hope!
I also thought it was sweet when Bill basically told Jessica he was proud of her….awww!

What I wonder about, even more than Vamps killing the late, lamented Mr. and Mrs. Stackhouse, is when will Andy’s fairy child show up, and could, perhaps, the other guy who threw Jason and Andy out of the club been Andy’s hookup child, considering how fast people age there.
I think Tara’s gonna be fabulous as a Vampire. Between her badassery and Pam’s fashion guidance, it’ll be fun to watch, I think.
Maybe Jesus’ body disappearance will end up being one of those unanswered questions. I still wonder why Sookie got the fairie flash hands and no blood type while Jason didn’t get it and has a blood type.

Also, it’s awesome and weird to be wearing a T-Shirt with a giant picture of a kitty on it, and then have the original kitty just casually appear in a video you’re watching! It’s like if Liza Minnelli showed up at your house to fix your cable and afterward you ended up sitting next to her on the couch watching Cabaret or something. I don’t know. I noticed for the QYA, you both picked characters that don’t exist in the book series. They’re my favies too and I think for the same reason. After reading nearly a dozen books with these characters, when you see the TV version do something so off, you resent it a little bit. Jess and Lafayette are essentially virgins in that way so we’re more open to them going in different directions because there’s no predisposition in the back of our minds.
Your cat looks just like my cat Mo, by the way. Short for Mohawk. She was all white with two little gray dots and a gray stripe on her head when she was born. The gray faded but the name stuck. She talks and licks a lot, too.
My QYA: Since most HBO shows don’t go on for 10+ seasons, we can assume a lot of the books will not be covered (especially since the show strays all the time anyway). Which plotline from later in the series would you like to see stepped up and played out on the show?
I’d personally like to see the Sookie kidnapped by Fae and tortured scenes. That would bring the book Fae nature to light on the show and redeem some of this cheesiness and we’d all like to see Sookie tortured a little bit, am I right?
