“American Horror Story” Leads Emmy Race with 17 Noms

NOM NOM NOM

Yes, Sister Jude, Sister Mary Eunice Whoopsies del Diablo (BVM), Dr. Bloodyface, LanaBanana and all the rest have caused a riot in the Common Room by beating any other show on television in Emmy nominations (even critical and popular darlings Game of Thrones and Mad Men).

Aside from Best Miniseries or Made-for-TV movie, AHS: Asylum racked up noms for Jessica Lange (lead actress, for the second time), the amazing Sarah Paulson (supporting actress), Zachary Quinto and James Cromwell (supporting actors), and pretty much every design-based Best, including Cinematography, Costumes, Makeup, Hair, Sound Mix, Opening Title Sequence, and Use of Adam Levine (they’re totally gonna beat The Voice).

Huge congrats to all these sickos on their nominations, and here’s hoping that they all take a little gold statue back to Briarcliff with them.
