Another week, another batty new feature here at CampBlood.org! At least our ability to start things that we can’t finish is … um … hey look, a fire truck!
This here new feature is a fun one that I hope you die-hard horror and cult movie fans will enjoy. Heard of “Six Degrees of Separation (Kevin Bacon)”? That’s essentially what 666 Degrees is all about, with one catch: You can only connect the two actors via horror or genre movies. Wicked!
Kevin Bacon sez he’s gonna just sit this one out, mmkay?
Once you’ve got a daisy-chain between the two actors mentioned, share it in the comments. Whoever has the shortest chain wins the undying love of his or her fellow nutjobs. And if you are on the fence as to whether one of your connections qualifies as “genre”, beware: The pack can veto! And it goes without saying that, while there’s no way to monitor the use of IMDb or Wikipedia, it’s more in the spirit of the game to try and complete the chain with nothing but your own twisted memories.
We’ll kick off the game this week with two of my favorite ladies of horror, who nearly share a last name: Mario Bava muse Barbara Steele and Final Girl extraordinaire Amy Steel.
