Drag horror aficionado Peaches Christ is "All About Evil"

I got a note from drag performer and horror filmmaker Joshua Grannell, aka Peaches Christ (A Nightmare on Castro Street), letting us horror homos know that he has secured financing for his first feature, All About Evil, with producer Darren Stein (Jawbreaker).

The film tells the story of a demented movie theater proprietress who starts making her own arthouse horror films that are a little more taxing on the actors than they signed up for (and I don't just mean bad craft services). The flick reportedly has Thomas Dekker (The Sarah Connor Chronicles), Cassandra Peterson (Elvira), and Mink Stole lined up so far, and will go before cameras in early 2009.

Well this all sounds quite promising for fans of camp horror. I love the H.G. Lewis vibe of the setup and know that Christ ... er, Grannell is a dyed-in-the-wool ("died-in-the-wool"?) horror fan, so we can count on a gory good time if things come together as planned. Plus, that title?? It's like Peaches plucked it from my own pun-diseased brain. I'll be keeping my eye on this one...
